Comfort Chefs is a Bloemfontein-based maker of traditional South African frozen ready meals, cooked in the Free State and delivered in Gauteng, Western Cape and Eastern through The Frozen Food Courier's cold chain network. The range runs from home-style favourites — Beef Bredie, Kerrie Maalvleis, Cottage Pie and Meatballs on Mash — to a full curry line including Butter Chicken, Lamb Korma and Coconut Chicken Curry, alongside pasta, soups, pizza, and Pots for Tots meals for toddlers. Every dish is frozen at the point of cooking and arrives frozen, ready to heat and serve.

They initially gave a time, saying it will be delivered on the 25th August 2026, between of 05:58 am and 06:57 am. I was impressed as this ment i didnt have to take the day off from work. Of course nothing was delivered between that time. It was delivered at 15h20, 8 hrs later. I lost an entire days work due to miscommunication. I will not use this delivery service. Bad service.
Constant, accurate updates of expected arrival time down to the minute. An actual map to track your delivery as it makes it's way to you, not just a bullet point saying "out for delivery".
