Service Specific Terms and Conditions
Courier Terms
Please note the following service terms and limitations. Please ensure that you review our terms and conditions. Please Note – our service fees DO NOT include 3rd party temperature controlled logistic partners required for move produce between the Coast and Gauteng.
- Charged PER Transfer based on SHARED SCHEDULE.
- Delivery PER Transfer is for 60 kilograms or less.
- Orders above 60 kilograms will attract a R 4.50 (VAT Exclusive) surcharge per kilogram for additional weight up to 600 kilograms.
- Order above 600 kilograms require individualised quotation, please contact us.
- TRANSFERs (Pickup or Delivery) that do not fit within the SHARED SCHEDULE, will require individualised quotation, please contact us.
Air Cargo Terms
Please note the following service terms and limitations for Air Cargo. The volumetric factor is 6000 and all prices will be charged on actual or volumetric whichever is higher.
- Goods must be delivered to the SFE Pick Up Point at least 120 mins before the scheduled flight time if we are not collecting or lodging the consignment.
- Last minute amendments will incur a Waybill Amendment Fee per Waybill submitted.
- Mis-declaration of Goods may incur a penalty Fee of up to R 1000 (VAT Exclusive) per Waybill submitted.
- The Maximum Dimensions per Piece / Cardboard Box is (H) Height of 100 cm, (L) Length of 80 cm and (W) Width of 80 cm.
- Maximum Weight per Piece / Cardboard Box is 30 kilograms.
Service Terms
- Same Day Collect and Deliver only available if the Collection is on Route and part of our schedule. Otherwise, next business day delivery applies.
- We do not service DISTRIBUTION CENTERS or RETAIL OUTLETS (example, SPAR, Checkers, PicknPay, etc).
- Even though the trucks are legally rated for 1000 kilograms of load, we prefer to load no more than 860 kilograms so as to protect our investment in our trucks.
- The trucks are 2.6 meters high, and cannot enter underground facilities.
- The freezers are programmable, and can be set to run from – 20 deg Celsius to 0 deg Celsius.
- We DO NOT FREEZE DOWN goods. We cannot accommodate fresh produce.
- If you require a very specific temperate for your goods, the Half Day or Full Day rate will apply, as the freezer will be calibrated to your specific needs.
